EpochElapse
The Scorch debut album instrumental intro that redefines and breathes new life into the next era of metal!!!
The song title arose from the combination of two words:

1) Epoch: A particular period of history, especially one considered remarkable or noteworthy.
2) Elapse: A period of time.

As Scorch stomps and stampedes into ground-breaking territory, a place in time and space is reserved on the map of metal, as Scorch conquers and claims a continent all their own.

Explode
When people can't see inside of you and take things for what they look like on the outside, it forces you to build up energy inside. To their shocking surprise, they find out what's really lurking inside. When you can feel the energy flowing from your fingertips through your heart, shooting down through your legs and up through your mind, you can only take it so long until a pure adrenalin rush forces you to...Explode!!!

Psycho
Sculpted by an unforgiving society, a normal man becomes institutionalized in his own mind. Attempting to keep his sanity, a 'never say die' voice comes from inside of him and takes over his subconscious.  When no one can feel what he feels and all his words seem to go unnoticed, eventually an unparalleled mind takes a turn for the worse. Despite his capacity to think clearly and his internal organs deteriorating, his unprecedented state of mind is feared by all.

Face
If you listen closely, you will see that this masterpiece's sections are arranged in the form of a mirror with the beginning and end of the song imitating each other.  This plays on the theme of the song: When a frozen spirit becomes lost in his own world of disillusionment, he can no longer reflect on the truth and is blinded by his own thoughts. Continuing forth alone, lost between the clouds above and the underworld, he continues on his quest for answers.  This nine minute title track off of the debut CD includes over a half dozen riffs, multiple dueling solos and drastic tempo changes, fulfilling all of your metal needs!

Orgasmic Taste
By nature, a predator…by instinct, an animal... curious and cunning, a carnal conqueror… Living off the pulse of others, forever in a feeding frenzy…
"Nothing can take the place of the Orgasmic Taste! Ahh!"

Scorch
Honor and honesty are ravaged and ripped away in this classic tale of betrayal. Backstabbed by the ones who supposedly loved you most…You've been Scorched!

Remember (hear it on our mp3 page)
As an older family member passes away, childhood memories are triggered. Looking decades back on the guidance and influence provided by this loved one, a hole once filled suddenly becomes empty. Infuriated by this passing of life, only regrets are recollected.  Eventually nothing is left but the reality of death and the inevitable past.

Mind Raper (hear it on our mp3 page)
Telepathy takes on a whole new meaning.  Instead of mutually exchanging ideas, one's mind is unknowingly read and brainwashed. The implantation and abduction of thoughts takes place through mind control.

Take My Hand
You are drawn to it, but you are not certain as to what 'it' really is. In a desolate overgrown part of the earth, a pure entity exists and pulsates within you.  When you open your hand and mind to this supernatural being, truth and immortality become all too familiar.

We Are One
This song goes out to the entire metal community around the globe. We are truly all as one, bonded by the power of music! This song is dedicated to Chuck Shuldiner of pioneer death metal band, Death, who passed away in 2001. Long live the memories and mysticism of metal!

Ominous Overtones
You are haunted by the classical and medieval melodies that suggest that of a warrior honored by the people of his land after a victory battle.  This is only the beginning…as this deep, multiple layered orchestral violin and strings instrumental will be transformed into an even more in-depth epic overture on the upcoming second CD release from Scorch.
