Behold! The world’s newest and most diverse metal band has just arrived at your doorstep! Featuring an arsenal of three percussionists, SCORCH is breathing fresh life into a new realm of metal for fans everywhere. The drum section ranges from an onslaught of overlaid and accented rhythms to an all-out simultaneous wall of pulverizing percussion. Two seven-string guitarists cover the entire metal spectrum including heavy and intricate riffs, melodic solos and a few moments of clean eerie tonality. The vocals range from harsh yet understandable screams to clean yet clenching melodies. Completing the mix is a 5-string bassist which compounds the heaviness of the grooves and on occasion creates haunting harmonies with the guitars.
SCORCH possesses its own distinct sound but swears to be influenced by Pantera’s and Machine Head's grooves, Sepultura's tribal rhythms, Fear Factory's precision, Slayer’s speed/harmonies, and Cradle of Filth's tempo and arrangement changes.

PROMOTION AND MARKETING CAMPAIGNS
- Touring - Past shows include Detroit, Lansing & Kalamazoo, Michigan, including opening up for Kittie & Biohazard in Jan/March 2003 in Detroit. Past shows include Pittsburgh, Chicago and Milwaukee. Ohio and Indiana shows are expected to be booked in the near future.
- Retail - CD consignment at independent record stores in all tour cities, sales at live shows (including our own personally created merchandise display). In addition, we accept credit card orders at our web site, www.cdbaby.com & www.cdstreet.com. We also offer special package deals that include CDs or shirts with free stickers & posters at live shows!
- Marketing - Personally distributing 50-150 free demo CDs to unsuspecting fans at metal shows one to two weeks prior to our performance. We have street teams distributing demo CDs & flyers in many cities in and out of Michigan. We have one song on the Meathead Records International Heavy Metal Compilation (2003). Other compilation CD appearances are in the works in the near future.
- Internet - MP3's & merchandise available on our web site. We also have hyperlinks directed to our main web site from dozens of other metal sites.
- Radio - Our songs are for play on several internet radio stations as well as college radio stations in Michigan, Illinois, Wisconsin & Pennsylvania. Coming soon: Ohio & Indiana!
- Press - Reviews and interviews in several alternative newspapers, magazines and webzines.
